Senior IAS officer Subodh Agarwal from the Rajasthan cadre has been appointed as the Chairman of the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, Jaipur. According to a recent transfer order by the Rajasthan government, IAS Subodh Agarwal has been entrusted with this new responsibility. Until now, Agarwal was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Public Health Engineering & Groundwater Department and the Water Resources Department, including the State Water Resources Planning Department in Rajasthan.
Originally from Uttar Pradesh,IAS Subodh Agarwal has held several key positions in the Rajasthan cadre, gaining extensive experience. Over his career, he has worked in 40 different roles, making him a versatile administrator. While his family hails from Uttar Pradesh, Agarwal completed his schooling at Scindia School in Gwalior. After studying at Scindia School from 1977 to 1983, he passed 12th grade and got selected for IIT.
